A Tidbit About Me

Greetings!  My name is Jessi Bales and I'm obsessed with creating things.  It's been a compulsion I've enjoyed for as long as I can remember.  My studio is my castle, my spaceship, my time machine, and my rainbow bridge.    No matter what I am going through, I always know that I can step into the realm of my imagination and find the creativity, happiness, and strength to make it through anything life throws my way.  I reside in Tennessee along with my adorably geeky husband and our three devilishly charming cats.  Oh, and some fish, too.  Can't forget the fish.  Looking to learn more about what I do? Odd Notions Studio was first conceived in 2005 and has been growing and changing with me as the years zoom by.  What began as a cramped, lamplit corner in a bedroom has blossomed into a spacious home studio with big windows and a lovely view.  Even though so much has changed throughout the years, my aspiration has stayed the same; happiness through art.  It's a simple goal, but it's so darned rewarding.
